Field Cleanup this Saturday at 9AM, Pine Ridge and Micklewright

Please show up Saturday the 10th at 9AM to help get the fields ready for the fall, either at Pine Ridge or Micklewright.

Fields closed, all cames cancelled this weekend

From Fairfax County Fields:

Due to the significant amount of rain we have experienced the past few days and the current sate of grass fields, all Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) and Fairfax County Park authority (PA) grass athletic fields will be closed to use this weekend; Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 9-11. Playing surfaces need time to dry out and be brought up to proper playing conditions before use. Synthetic playing surfaces are open for regularly scheduled, permitted play with the exception of Luther Jackson MS. County field monitors will be out this weekend to ensure no one is playing on grass athletic fields. For the long-term enjoyment of the fields, everyone's cooperation is appreciated.

Coach's Clinic - March 21st and 28th

ANSLL has arranged for Kyle Werman, Assistant Baseball Coach, George Mason University, to conduct two 2-hour clinics specifically for our coaches.

March 21, Sunday - 6:00pm to 8:00pm - North Springfield Elementary gym (Pitching and Catching)
March 28, Sunday - 6:00pm to 8:00pm - North Springfield Elementary gym (Hitting and Fielding)

All games cancelled this weekend (10/17)

Given the weather the past few days and the weather forecast for the weekend, we are canceling all games this weekend. The County has closed all natural grass fields for the weekend as well, so no practices even if the weather breaks on Sunday. Alexandria LL has closed their fields for the weekend so all games scheduled down there are canceled as well.

As of now, we are considering the possibility of moving this Saturday's slate of games to November 7th. This will depend in large part to the predicted weather for that date and will need to be coordinated with the other leagues. We will let you know as we talk to the other leagues.
