FCABR is excited to offer Select Travel Team Baseball for the 2010 Spring season!

 

In addition to our regular-season baseball program, FCABR will participate in the Northern Virginia Travel Baseball League (NVTBL) Sunday schedule.  This Sunday select travel program strives to provide additional advanced competition for selected players.  FCABR will sponsor age-based teams playing at the 13U, 14U, 16U (Varsity 2) and 18U levels within NVTBL.  Teams will operate with a Friday practice and Sunday game schedule, with Sunday games generally being double-headers played against other NVTBL travel teams across Fairfax County.  Unlike our regular season teams, the Sunday program does not have guaranteed roster spots.  Try-outs will be conducted, and the coaches will determine the rosters as well as the number of teams participating.  Players that are selected to play for one of the FCABR sponsored Sunday select travel teams will be required to pay an additional fee of $180 over the league fee for regular season (e.g. house) games. This is a fraction of the fees charged by other area travel teams that charge up to 5 to 10 times this amount.  Please be sure to mark Travel-Ball interest box on Registration form.  (Note:  Playing on an FCABR sponsored travel team does not count towards eligibility to play on one of FCABR’s all star teams, nor does it guarantee a roster spot on an all star team.)
